FMA: Military school

I always wondered how Ed was going to make his living after the end of the manga. We see him leaving for the west, but afterwards we also see the kids.

So here's my version of the future: After the wandering period (sometimes with Winry, sometimes without her) Ed decided to share his knowledge and insights in alchemy by teaching it to other alchemists. (Yeah! Ed a teacher, sounds crazy eh ^^ but I think it's one of the things where he can use his talents.) Since Mustang can use some state alchemists Edward gets to train them. And since Ed needs to give an example now I can put him in uniform. I so wanted to do that. Muhah.

As you might have read before, I imagine Winry's and Ed's daughter must be like a second Ed, with crazy smile, wicked alchemy, evil thoughts and all. Following her father's footsteps, she joins him at the state academy.

I gave Ed glasses and a bit of a beard, to make him look older (and like his father?). We're a lot of years further from the manga now.



..This all because I love uniforms!



This one was done in photoshop from a sketch base. I tried to colour it like it was done by hand, with a lot of white. I've not yet decided wether I like this or not.
