FMA: Edwin: M2M episode 2, page 1

Okay! Time for a second episode of my Fullmetal Alchemist Edward x Winry comic!

This time, the story takes place after the last scene of the manga/FMAB anime.

I decided to go for another style for this comic. Please let me know if you like it or if you have any suggestions. I'm still working on the next pages so it's never to late to adapt!

I've been tinkering a bit in Manga Studio This is my first time ever trying this application, so I hope you'll see the pages evolve when I get more exercise. My first impression of the program is that it has a lot of nice and quick features, but I miss some stuff as well, like the pen pressure and magnetic lasso in photoshop.

I decided to go with inked pages and manga studio because:
1) I suck at inking, it really looks much better here but for some reason it doesn't go on monitors the way it should be. So this is meant as an exercise.
2) I work on A3 format to increase detail and exercise panels and proportions. With pencil, I always succeed in detail, but in markers (even with a 0,05mm one!) I fail.
3) I suck at making text balloons in photoshop >_<
4) I wanted to do some extra shading the manga-way (that takes less work theheheee)

Oh, comic is to be read left to right. Sorry manga-addicts, I grew up on european comics and it's a reflex to make them this way! I'm also calling this a comic and not a manga because although I put a lot of the manga techniques in it, I don't see my own drawings as manga figures.
