...or at least I hope so

This means I have (probably) my last long vacation till I'm retired, so it's time for some cosplay making and commissions!




About the latter: I'll be raising my prices a bit after my holidays, so if you ever thought about commissioning me, now is the time!
Not that my prices are high, I do my drawings for fun and the rates I have are not much, compared with the hours I work for them they're peanuts. The rates I mention here are to give you an idea, when I like the project I might do more for less. And sometimes I even do extra gifts, all depending on how I like the project. If there's a lot of details in it, price goes up, if it's simple, price goes down. This applies to every aspect of the drawings!

So the rates in euro's:

1 character:
- lineart (markers only): 10
- lineart (markers only + shadows in pencil): 12
- lineart (pencil only): 14
- colours (aquarel): +7
- colours (digital, flat): +5
- colours (digital, cell shading): +8
- colours (digital, smooth shading): +10

For example: the Jedi Kaoru-picture in my gallery is 10 + 10 = 20 Euro's.

I colour other artists' linearts but I ask +2, and I want you to show me that you had permission to let me colour it.

extra characters: depending on their position, these extra characters are easier or harder to do. But most of the time it's just plus the same rates as mentioned above for extra characters.

portraits, busts, comic pages: if the character isn't totally on the page, for example if the drawing shows only the head, it's a bit cheaper, depending on how much details you want. Please contact me for an estimation. For comic pages, each frame is rated but I give a lot of discounts

Payment methods: bank account transcription (europe), paypal

As I said I'll start working soon, so I wont have much time and I'll have more need for money since I want to get an own place for living. That's why I won't be accepting everything and raise my rates.



Next item: cosplaying!

I've been thinking about some new cosplays, SW and non-SW included.
I do iaido, that's a Japanese fighting sport you might also know as battojutsu - the drawing and sheeting of the katana. More info on the wiki page: [link]
Now the interesting part is that our uniform is almost a bleach uniform, so I actually only have to make a white belt, a longer white underkimono and the shoes and tabi socks.
But that's too simple ofcourse ^^
So I'm thinking about doing someone from the squad of Soi Fon, the 2nd division. I like the outfit a lot and it's not too hot to wear on a convention.
But I'm still thinking

Next 'cosplay' I'm going to make is again japanese. I got a real vintage kimono from Jeffrey from my B-day (iiiiiiieeeeeeee just love it!), but I don't have a good obi and under-kimono yet. So I want to fix that so I can wear it easily. And maybe also on conventions

I also have some cool sw ideas but first I have to loose some weight



I also made some new drawings, not of my best works but I need to get into drawing again, after finishing my thesis and exams. I hope to colour them all in but I have some householding tasks etc etc and I love to start watching some new series...

Someone here who can recommend me a new anime or series? (I watched bleach, rurouni kenshin, justice league, avatar, death note, champloo, spawn, utena, most of the batman's and superman's, afro samurai, wolverine and the x-men, samurai 7, star wars (duh ), ... too much to write down) but I'd like to see something finished, genre kenshin or bleach... anyway something with a good combination of action and a bit of epic romance ()

oh and before I forget it, I'm looking for an IT job
