I've been silent for a while here on dA, but you might 've noticed from previous times that I'm always silent for a reason. That reason mostly making new lineart for the pages of the Edward&Winry fancomic that I'm doing.

So...yes...basically I made other adult rated stuff... I'm actually pretty excited about this, it's the first time I'm publishing this kind of explicit stuff and it was a lot of fun to draw, so I hope you enjoy it as well!



Background blobs:

The pages will be showing a bit more than the previous ones did, but I still think there's this shyness and first time love stuff going around in it. But... I could be wrong since I've spend hours drawing per page so each page 'happened' much slower in my mind than it will be for you on paper. I've also been reading and rereading the script a lot, so I hope that this didn't cloud my judgement.
I just want to tell you this so you can keep it in mind. Should it not feel the same way as I describe it, and you have any idea how I could solve it, your help is sincerely appreciated. This is the first comic with emotional load I'm doing, so I'm very inexperienced in this kind of story-telling and willing to learn Just no flaming please... I don't mean any harm so don't bother me and other readers with rude and stupid comments. I do like comments, both the praising, funny as the critical ones, so keep it coming I will keep on drawing anyway, but the motivation your comments are giving me are giving me extra fuel!

I personally don't like cheap mature rated stuff, but I do like it when it fits a story. Don't give me some parodical or misplaced stuff, but when it occurs to fit right into a story, I almost find it sad when the author is desperately trying to walk around the topic. So, the M rating is not there only because I wanted to de some M rated stuff, it is also because I thought they're a fantastical and also realistic couple and I wanted to depict a lot of feelings in their evolving relationship, one of them their first and burning lust combined with unsure and tense feelings. I'm planning on doing sad and anger stuff as well, like I did some before, but also cosy and sweet moments.
..Although I cannot deny that I find it extremely tempting to make dozens of these more spicy scenes



Situating the story (synopsis):

Ed and Winry had some bumps along the ride growing close. Their first and quite clumsy encounter (...mostly for Ed's part, see M2M1) was made under the shadow of the promised day. Both were stressed up and fearing for their and other lives. Things happened, they kissed and Winry wanted even more before he left, maybe to be never seen again. But Ed was unprepared and overloaded with feelings of shyness, guilt, and doubts. He didn't want to hurt her but was doing anyway, whatever he did, because he didn't know himself if he was coming back.

Then the miracle happened: Al was flesh and blood again and on the way they happened to save the world (or was it the other way around ^^) The brothers both ended their quest that had take all the years of their puberty. Now they had to go on with their lives and find out what they wanted to do. For Al, that was not a problem, he already had plenty of things on his mind and enjoying every minute. For Ed on the contrary, it was unsettling because he lost his purpose and could not take decisions; the first time in his life that he had no real goal anymore.

Ed secretly tried to avoid Winry because of what happened before and the fact that he didn't really know what to do. Not that he was really subtle about it, so after a while Winry spoke to him about this. It was when he was confronted with her again, he realised that he was fooling himself and hurting her, so he should just try this new adventure called love.
After reluctantly admitting that he told her the truth that one night before the promising day, he felt like he had to make some move to prove his point. Not being the most talkative and more of an arrogant type, he hyped himself up and tried to go a bit furher with Winry.
Partly to his surprise, Winry was more than willing to follow his first attempts to get more intimate with him (he somehow believed that the willingness she showed before promising day was only a result of the situation back then) and got a bit lost. But both of them were trying a bit too hard, a bit too tense, a bit scared not to live up to the expectations the other one could have. Ed is not really a thinker when it comes to emotional stuff, but Winry had been dreaming about this for so long and Ed's indecisive reaction made the built up stress explode. They both ended up not really going where they thought they were, but were suddenly comforting each other and cooling down the feelings that were so intense but too overheated.

After the event, they both felt shy and awkward. Both knew they liked each other more than just friends, but it was hard to show. Ed because he's Ed, Winry because she was scared of shattering her long kept dreams.
They did have their private moments together, but they consisted mostly out of kissing. They got the hang on flirting, driving the other one crazy, hiding, kissing and holding each other tight. They had this opposite reaction on that one evening: now they were taking it slow, taking small steps, enjoying each moment. Although some moments, Win could drive Ed so crazy that he almost lost his short temper...and some of these moments, a hand slipped somewhere dark or a kiss was placed somewhere unconventional...

Ed was still an impatient (now) man, but hurting Winry was one of the most dreadful things he knew and not because of the wrenches that came his way. There was this dilemma in his head about resembling his farther. He couldn't stay in Risembool, he'd seen too much and knew there was still more to see. But he also wanted to stay glued to Winry forever. These thoughts, together with his lack of a decent puberty period, was keeping him in check but somewhat distant as well.
He was also scared as hell to be confronted with this second part of the reality. Sure, the traveling was no problem, he 'd done it all his life. But loving someone and especially making it public... that was another story. Winry was surprisingly patient with him, which made him feel even worse sometimes.

Every now and then, the distance closed a bit more...
